Nach einer langjährigen Auseinandersetzung mit ihren Arbeiten, gibt Jachuła einen Einblick in Zawadzkis künstlerische Praxis und erläutert die der Ausstellung immanenten Themenkomplexe wie die Ablehnung des Anthropozentrismus, Ideen einer posthumanen Gesellschaft sowie die Recherche zu dem Verhältnis zwischen lebendiger und lebloser Materie. Von einzelnen Werken in der Ausstellung ausgehend spricht Jachuła über den Zugang der Künstlerin zu Fragestellungen wie Identität, Regeln und Ordnung, die unterschiedliche Organisationen und Themen betreffen.<BR><BR>Michał Jachuła absolvierte ein Masterstudium in Kunstgeschichte an der Universität Warschau sowie in Zeitgenössischer Kunst am Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York. Er kuratierte Ausstellungen mit Künstler_innen wie with Elka Krajewska, Józef Robakowski (co-kuratiert Tobi Maier, auch am Ludlow 38, New York und ZKM, Karlsruhe) beide in der Arsenal Gallery in Bialystok sowie mit Anna Ostoya, Jabberwocky, Bohdan Mrázek und Jiří Skála in der Foksal Gallery; „The Splendor of Textiles” in der Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warschau und Joanna Malinowska & C.T. Jasper, „Relations Disrelations” im Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz. Having followed her work for many years, Jachuła provides insight into Zawadzki’s artistic practice around the most central themes in her work such as the rejection of anthropocentrism, ideas of a post-human society as well as her research on relationships between animate and inanimate matter. Discussing single works presented in the exhibition Jachuła talks about the artist’s approach to questions of identity, rules and orders governing different entities and subjects.<BR><BR>Michał Jachuła holds an MA in History of Art from University of Warsaw and an MA in Contemporary Art from Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York.
