Untersuchungen des performativen Paradoxes" und ausgehend von in ihrem Buch „Possen des Performativen“ verhandelten post-struktural-<BR>istischen, post-dramatischen und feministischen Diskursen wird </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Gin Müller</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > an diesem Abend eine Übersicht und Einführung in aktuelle politische Aktions-<BR>formen anregen. Eine Kernfrage dabei wird auch sein, welche Möglichkeiten radikalen demokratischen Handelns und performativ subversiver Agitation in einer übermedialisierten Gegenwart möglich bleiben.<BR><BR>Gin Müller ist derzeit externer Lektor für Theater-, Film-, und Medienwissen-<BR>schaften an der Universität Wien sowie an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien am Institut für Kulturmanagement. Daneben arbeitet Müller an eigenen Theater- und Performancearbeiten unter anderem in brut, Wien, als auch in Mexiko u.a.: „Trans Gender Moves“ (2014/15), „Who shot the Princess?“ (2010/11), „Melodrom“ (2012/13), „Rebelodrom – NoborderZone“ (2013), „Volxtheaterkarawane“ (2001/04), Performanceband SV Damenkraft (2004/08). Müller war aktiv im „Refugee Protest Vienna“ (2012/13) und engagiert sich seit 2014 bei „Queer Base,“ dem „LGBTIQ-Welcome“ und „Support Project der Rosa Lila Villa.“<BR><BR>--<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;color: #386EFF;text-decoration:underline;" ><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >17-11-<BR>2016 -6 pm<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Lecture by<BR>Gin Müller<BR><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >The last lecture by </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Gin Müller</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > being part of the auxiliary program of the exhibition "Yes, but is it performable? Investigations on the Performative Paradox" starts out from Müller's publication "Pranks of the Performative" and its post-structuralist, post-dramatic and feminist discourse, giving an overview and introduction into current political forms of action. One key question will be which forms of radical democratic acting and performative subversive agitation still are practicable in a strongly mediatized society.<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;" ><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >Currently Gin Müller works as external lecturer at the school of Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University Vienna as well as at the Institute for Cultural Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts.
