Stammer</SPAN></span><br><br><img src="cid:Line.png@B3F5A800.146A.4322.B6A7.8254C2537582"> <br><br><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >An diesem Donnerstagabend-Termin wird Beatrice Ellen Stammer in ihrer Präsentation über Entstehung und Geschichte ihres gemeinsam mit Bettina Knaup initiierten und reisenden Recherchearchiv „re.act feminism – a performing archive“ sprechen. Nach drei Jahren der Projektentwicklung, und in sieben Ausstellungen in Europa und zahlreichen Veranstaltungen gingen die beiden Kuratorinnen den Einflüssen einer feministischen, geschlechts-<BR>kritischen und queeren Performancekunst auf die Entwicklung der Performance nach. An dem umfangreichen Projekt arbeiteten insgesamt mehr als 180 Künstler_innen und Künstlerkollektive mit und es versammelte dabei Positionen aus den 1960er Jahren bis zu Beginn der 1980er Jahre sowie zeitgenössische Positionen aus Ost- und Westeuropa, dem Mittelmeerraum, dem Mittleren Osten, den USA und Lateinamerika. <BR><BR>Beatrice Ellen Stammer arbeitet als freie Autorin und Kuratorin in Berlin. In den Jahren 1983 bis 1993 war sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Staatlichen Kunsthalle (West)Berlin sowie Kuratorin an der NGBK, Berlin. 2007 gründete Stammer den Kunstverein cross links e.V. zur Förderung genderkritischer Kulturproduktion. Seit den 1980er Jahren kuratierte sie zahlreiche Ausstellung mit renommierten internationalen Künstler_innen, u.a. „Berlin - New York Exchange“, Berlin (1986); „Zwischenspiele - Eine junge Künstlergeneration der DDR“, Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin; „Via Lewandowsky“, NGBK, Berlin (beide 1989); „Louise Bourgeois – Intime Abstraktionen“, Akademie der Künste, Berlin (2003); „Shirin Neshat“, Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (2005); „re.act.feminism – performancekunst der 1960er und 70er Jahre heute“, mit Bettina Knaup, Akademie der Künste, Berlin (2008) sowie „re.act.feminism#2 – a performing archive“, mit Bettina Knaup, ein genderkritisches Performance-Archive, das von 2011 bis 2013 durch Europa tourte.<BR><BR>--<BR><BR>03-11-<BR>2016 -6pm<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Lecture by Beatrice E. Stammer</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;text-decoration:underline;" ><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >re.act.feminism #2 – a performing archive 2011 – 2013</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;" ><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" ><BR>On this Thursday evening Beatrice Ellen Stammer will talk about the beginnings and development of "re.act feminism" – a touring research archive, which she initiated together with Bettina Knaup. After three years of project development, seven exhibitions and numerous events in Europe, the two curators researched into the impact of feminist, gender critical and queer performance art on the development of performance. More than 180 artists and artist collectives were involved in this comprehensive project which gathers positions from the 1960s up to the beginning of the 1980s as well as contemporary positions from Eastern and Western Europe, the Mediterranean area, the Middle East, the USA and Latin America.<BR><BR>Beatrice Ellen Stammer works as an independent author and curator in Berlin. Between 1983 and 1993 she was a scientific fellow at the Staatliche Kunsthalle (West)Berlin and worked as curator at the NGBK, Berlin. In 2007 Stammer founded cross links e.V. an independent society as platform for projects and the realisation of events, in particular with emphasis on feminist and gender critical art production. Since the 1980s she realized various exhibitions with international established artists, such as „Berlin - New York Exchange“, Berlin (1986); „Zwischenspiele – Eine junge Künstlergeneration der DDR“, Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin; „Via Lewandowsky“, NGBK, Berlin (beide 1989); „Louise Bourgeois – Intime Abstraktionen“, Akademie der Künste, Berlin (2003); „Shirin Neshat“, Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (2005); „re.act.feminism – performance art of the 1960s and 70s today“, with Bettina Knaup, Akademie der Künste, Berlin (2008) and „re.act.feminism#2 – a performing archive“, with Bettina Knaup, a gender critical travelling exhibition (2011-2013).</SPAN><br /><br /><img src="cid:Line.png@B3F5A800.146A.4322.B6A7.8254C2537582">
