Beide Künstlerinnen stehen für „starke“ inhaltliche Positionen, die keineswegs einen kontroversiellen Zugang zu aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Phänomenen scheuen und in ihren jeweils unterschiedlichen Zugängen für eine sensible und klare „Sprache“ stehen. Die Architektur des Künstlerhaus gestattet eine pavillonartige Nutzung, die auf zwei Ebenen je eine künstlerische Position mittels eigens entwickelten inhaltlichen und baulichen Konzepten wirken lässt. Es ist der Institution wichtig Neuproduktionen zu realisieren, die das bestehende künstlerische Werk um neue Elemente ergänzen, wie mit den Künstlerinnen eigens entwickelte Publikationen und ein begleitendes Rahmenprogramm umzusetzen. Both artists represent "strong“ conceptual positions, which by no means are afraid of controversial approaches to current phenomenons of society, but articulate their distinct ideas in a sensitive way. The present architecture of the Künstlerhaus allows the creation of a pavilion-like environment, where on two levels, one respective artistic position is presented with site-specific constructional and conceptual stagings. A major concern of the institution is the realization and presentation of new works, publications and auxiliary program accompanying the exhibitions. In the frame of a curator’s guided tour through these exhibitions, Sandro Droschl will introduce Keren Cytter’s and Darja Bajagić’s projects and discuss open questions.</SPAN><br /><br /><img src="cid:Line.png@B3F5A800.146A.4322.B6A7.8254C2537582">
