Neben einer kuratorischen Einleitung von Christian Egger enthält die Publikation einen ausführlichen Essay des Autors und Kurators João Ribas. Das Cover wurde von Florian Hecker mithilfe eines Objectness Measure-Algorithmus gestaltet, das grafische Konzept übernahm NORM in Zürich.<BR><BR>Das Team des Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien freut sich wieder über Ihren Besuch und der Möglichkeit dabei des Rundgangs durch die aktuellen Ausstellungen von Keren Cytter "Selection" und Darja Bajagić "Unlimited Hate" bei freiem Eintritt. <BR><BR>Florian Hecker (*1975) arbeitet mit synthetischem Klang im Bereich der Performance, Installation und Künstlerpublikation. Er setzt sich dabei mit bestimmten kompositorischen Entwicklungen der Nachkriegsmoderne, Audiologie und Psychoakustik auseinander. Seit 1996 ist Hecker mit einer Vielzahl von internationalen Aufführungen und Konzerten international präsent. Seine jüngste Zusammenarbeit mit dem Philosophen Reza Negarestani, „A Script for Machine Synthesis“ (2015), wurde im Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam uraufgeführt und „Formulation (FLV Project)“ (2014) wurde im Rahmen der Eröffnungsausstellung der Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris vorgestellt. Beside a curatorial introduction by Christian Egger, this publication contains a comprehensive essay by the author and curator João Ribas. The cover has been designed by Florian Hecker using an Objectness Measure Algorithm, NORM in Zurich took care for the graphic concept.<BR><BR>Florian Hecker (*1975) works with synthetic sound across performance, installation, and publications, exploring compositional developments in postwar modernity, audiology, and psychoacoustical knowledge. Since 1996, Hecker has given a multitude of performances and concerts internationally, both in major concert halls and festivals for contemporary electronic music. His most recent collaboration with philosopher Reza Negarestani, "A Script for Machine Synthesis" (2015), was premiered at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and "Formulation (FLV Project)" (2014) was presented as part of the inaugural exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris.
