Welche Effekte der Künstler selbst in den unterschiedliche Materialisierungen des titelgebenden Satz- und Trennzeichens „Beistrich“ sieht, wird dabei ebenso zur Diskussion kommen wie der maßgebliche Einfluss des österreichischen Avantgardisten Konrad Bayer (1932–1964) dabei, mit dessen einzigartigen Oeuvre Oberhumer sich auch in seiner Diplomarbeit in Germanistik auseinandersetzte.<BR><BR>Das Team des Künstlerhauses freut sich einmal mehr über Ihren Besuch der Ausstellung „Sighs Trapped by Liars – Sprache in der Kunst" bei freiem Eintritt und der dabei entstehenden Möglichkeit des Dialogs in diesem Rahmen mit dem Künstler.<BR><BR>Georg Oberhumer wurde 1986 in Graz geboren, er lebt und arbeitet in Berlin und Wien. Seit 2009 studiert er an der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, seit 2010 Deutsche Philologie. One topic of discussion will be the effects that the artist himself perceives in the various manifestations of the eponymous “Beistrich” (comma), which separates phrases; another will be the significant influence of the Austrian avant-garde artist Konrad Bayer (1932–1964) and his unique oeuvre, which Oberhumer also explored in his thesis work for his degree in German.<BR><BR>Georg Oberhumer was born in 1986 in Graz, Austria; he now lives and works in Berlin and Vienna. He began studying at the Akademie der bildenden Künste (Academy of Fine Arts) in Vienna in 2009, German philology in 2010. In 2013 he received the Steiermark Award for Contemporary Visual Art.</SPAN><br /><br /><img src="cid:Line.png@B3F5A800.146A.4322.B6A7.8254C2537582">
