Durch die Umcodierung der Glitches von ihrer kalten, harten Logik der digitalen Schaltungen in weiche, warme Textilien, produziert <a href="http://glitchtextiles.com">Glitch Textiles</a> überzeugende taktile und funktionale Kunstwerke, die eine digitale / virtuelle Kluft überbrücken und gleichzeitig Geschichten gewebter Bildherstellung und Computertechnologien verbinden.<BR>Vieles unseres Alltags wird durch Algorithmen bestimmt. Diese Algorithmen reagieren auf Daten, die durch unsere Präsenz mit digitalen Netzwerk-Technologien gesättigten Umgebungen generiert werden. Indem Daten in ihrer Vielfalt sowohl sichtbar und greifbar gemacht werden, versucht „<a href="http://glitchtextiles.com">Glitch Textiles</a>“ Produkte herzustellen, die Bewusstsein schaffen und Dialoge eröffnen. By transcoding glitch-es in the cold, hard logic of digital circuits into soft, warm textiles, <a href="http://glitchtextiles.com">Glitch Textiles</a> produces compelling tactile and functional artworks: fabrics that bridge the digital/virtual divide while simultaneously connecting the histories of woven image making and computer technologies.<BR>Much of our daily lives is governed by algorithms. These algorithms act on data generated by our presence in highly networked environments saturated with digital technologies. By making data in its many forms both visible and tangible, <a href="http://glitchtextiles.com">Glitch Textiles</a> seeks to create products that generate awareness and open dialogs.
