Fink</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > an diesem Abend unter dem Alias </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;" >Fon_Tarrian </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >eine Elegie, die dem amerikanischen Poeten John Berryman gewidmet ist, aufführen. Eine evokative 2-Kanal Videoinstallation, bestehend aus Fotografien und Videopassagen aus dem eigenen Archiv mit Found Footage Versatzstücken komplettiert, wird hierbei vertont und durch gelesene, hybridisierte Textpassagen dramaturgisch akzentuiert. Im Vorfeld lädt das Künstlerhaus auf einen Rundgang durch die Ausstellung ein.<BR><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;" >Marlon Thierry Laurent Fink</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > (geboren 1986 in Graz) lebt, studiert und arbeitet eben da. Nach der erfolgreichen Absolvierung der Fachsparte Audio-Visuelles Mediendesign mit Schwerpunkten in analoger wie digitaler Fotografie und allen Facetten des Bewegtbildes an der hiesigen HTL Ortwein für Kunst und Design im Jahre 2005, fand er über die Umwege des dokumentar-fotografischen und videographischen Inszenierens als Autodidakt zu seiner musikalischen Identität Fontarrian. Neben seinem Studium der American Studies und Medienwissenschaften an der Karl-Franzens Universität Graz versucht er sich fortwährend mit Projekten an den Schnittstellen zwischen Musik, Video-Kunst und Fotografie seinen eigenen Weg zu bahnen. Im März 2014 erschien sein Debütalbum beim Berliner Label Antime, gefolgt von einem streng limitierten Split-Cassette Release des Wiener Kollektivs Bebop Rodeo im Juli. L. Fink, aka </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;" >Fon_Tarrian</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >, will perform an elegy dedicated to the American poet John Berryman. An evocative, two-channel video installation consisting of photographs and video clips from his own archive, rounded out by found footage, Fink adds sound and dramatic accents by reading hybridized passages of text.<BR><BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;" >Marlon Thierry Laurent Fink</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >, born in 1986 in Graz, also lives, studies, and works there. After successfully graduating with a degree in audio-visual media design, with concentrations in analogue and digital photography, and all facets of the moving picture at the local HTL Ortwein für Kunst und Design in 2005, he found his own way to his musical identity, Fontarrian, via a detour through documentary photographs and staged videos. Besides his courses in American Studies and Media Studies at the Karl Franzens University in Graz, he continues forging his own path with projects that intersect with music, video art, and photography. In March 2014 his debut album was released by the Berlin-based label Antime, followed by a strictly limited split cassette release by the Viennese collective Bebop Rodeo in July.
