Die Bühne, deren Grundriss dem Logo einer britischen Punk-Band entlehnt ist, entsteht in und aus einer Workshop-Situation mit Studierenden des „Institut für Grundlagen der Konstruktion und des Entwerfens“ der TU Graz.<BR><BR>Das gemeinsam mit dem Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel vom <a href="http://starship-magazine.org">Starship</a> Verlag, Berlin 2013 herausgegebene Erstlingswerk „Handbuch für die Reise durch Afrika“ der <a href="http://starship-magazine.org">Starship</a>-Mitherausgeberin </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Ariane Müller</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;" > </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >zählte zu den literarischen Überraschungen jenes Jahres. An diesem Abend präsentiert die Künstlerin und Autorin das Buch erstmals in Österreich. Damit gewährt sie Einblick in packend und intelligent geschilderten außergewöhnlichen Fährten einer Erzählerin durch Kenia´s Nairobi, Exotismus-Projektionen in rasanten Wechselbeziehungen, Buch-im Buch-Suspense, bi-kontinentaler Verzweiflungsrassismen, flüchtig dunkler Diplomaten-Erotik als Inside-Job aus einem Herz der Finsternis einer Gegenwart und vieles Kurzweiliges, sprachlich Umwerfendes mehr.<BR><BR>--<BR><BR>23-10-<BR>2014 -8 pm<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Reading <BR>Ariane Müller<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" ><BR>During and specially designed for </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >ordinary freaks – The Principle of Coolness in Pop Culture, Theatre and Museum</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > through the erection of a stage a club situation takes form in the lower level of the KM–. This evening marks the book’s first presentation in Austria, presided over by the artist and author, who provides a glimpse into her exciting, intelligently narrated, unusual journeys through Nairobi, Kenya, including rapid, correlating projections of exoticism; book-within-a book suspense; bi-continental, mutual, doubt-related racism; and the fleeting, dark attraction of diplomats, told from the present-day heart of darkness - as well as many more brief episodes related in stunning language.</SPAN><br /><br /><img src="cid:Line.png@DE16530C.4BFD.43A9.9A43.29CA07D8FCB4">
