Er jongliert in Hochgeschwindigkeit mit Unterscheidbarkeiten zwischen dargestellten Aufnahmen eines momentanen Selbst und Rollen des Malers bzw. Möglichkeiten des Mediums. The series "Starting from Hystyria", which is always accompanied by a fanzine, begins with the artist ONKEL SUSI.<BR><BR>The artwork of </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >ONKEL SUSI</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > (born in Styria, lives in Vienna) embraces gestural-expressive, colourful painting and spans along its own mediatic edges to reach spontaneous loopholes in the dominant matrix of imperative self-invention and self-identity. At high velocity he juggles with discriminabilities between rendered depictions of a momentary self and the role of the painter or the potentialities of the medium.
