Im eigenen Werk überwiegt die sozialpolitische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Sicherheit, das in den Jahren Immer brisanter wurde und sich auf nahezu alle gesellschaftlichen Bereiche erstreckt. Kernthema ist, dass wir mit Sicherheitspolitiken in einen Sicherheitswahn gebracht werden, der uns nicht zwangsläufig mehr Sicherheit bringt, sondern auch verbirgt, dass existentiell notwenige Sicherheiten abgebaut werden, parallel zur Ökonomisierung sozialer Beziehungen und zur Ausbeutung oder Zerstörung natürlicher Ressourcen.
