Kulturlandesrat Dr. Christian Buchmann lädt zur Verleihung der Landeskulturpreise in das Künstlerhaus KM–. Unter Moderation von Thomas Edlinger und Katharina Seidler (ORF/FM4) werden rund 61 Preisträger/innen und Stipendiat/innen vom Land Steiermark und seinen Kulturschaffenden geehrt, um den Abend in einem Fest der Kunst mit Musik und einem Buffet ausklingen zu lassen. <BR><BR>So erhält Wolfgang Pollanz (Edition Kürbis, pumpkin records..) den „Hanns-Koren-Kulturpreis“ für seine außergewöhnlichen Leistungen für das steirische Kulturleben. Die mittlerweile in Hamburg lebende Schriftstellerin Monique Schwitter bekommt den „manuskripte“-Preis verliehen. Ulrike Tischler und Martin Mechs (.tmp Architekten) wird der Architekturpreis des Landes Steiermark zugesprochen. </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';" >Der Förderungspreis des Landes Steiermark für zeitgenössische bildende Kunst wird per Publikumsvoting im Rahmen der Ausstellung „The Styrians“ (Eröffnung am 7. November 2013 im Kunsthaus, Graz) bis 10. November 2013 ermittelt. Über 17 Musikstipendien erfreuen sich ebenso viele hochbegabte Jungmusiker/innen. <BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" >Erstmals wird ein umfassender Katalog zu den Landeskulturpreisen präsentiert. Dieser liegt bei der Veranstaltung zur freien Entnahme auf.<BR>--<BR><BR>Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien (KM–) is pleased to host and present the </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Prizes of the Province of Styria</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > and invite to a gala.<BR><BR>Since the restructuring of the</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';" > "Prizes of the Province of Styria"</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > in 2011, all prizes awarded by the Province of Styria are handed over to the prize winners in the frame of one festive prize award ceremony. Dr. Christian Buchmann, member of the Styrian Government invites to the awarding to Künstlerhaus KM–. The presenters Thomas Edlinger and Katharina Seidler (ORF/FM4) will honor around 61 scholarship holders. The ceremony is followed by a party with music and buffet.<BR><BR>Wolfgang Pollanz (Edition Kürbis, pumpkin records..) is awarded the "Hanns-Koren-Kulturpreis" for his extraordinary contributions to the Styrian cultural life. The meanwhile Hamburg-based author Monique Schwitter receives the "manuscripte"-Award. Ulrike Tischler and Martin Mechs (.temp Architekten) are awarded the "Architectural Award of the Province of Styria." The "Promotion Award of the Province of Styria for Contemporary Fine Arts" is decided via an audience voting in the frame of the exhibition "The Styrians" at Kunsthaus Graz. 17 music grants will be given to highly gifted young musicians. <BR>For the first time, a comprehensive catalogue on the "Prizes of the Province of Styria" will be presented. This evening, the publication is available for free at Künstlerhaus KM–.</SPAN><br /><br /><img src="cid:Line.png@F986D2A0.69E1.4CFF.8B5E.727581B34D47">
