Zunächst von 30 Verlagen und Bühnen abgelehnt, wurde das Stück 1968 in Hannover uraufgeführt.<br>Ein Sensationserfolg.<br>Kein Propagandatraktat, eine – auf den ersten Blick – hyperrealistische Milieustudie einer Bohemeszene. Zwei Paare: Charlie und Birgit, Joe und Monika.<br>Studie ist eigentlich schon zu viel gesagt.<br>Irgendwo in ihrem Zimmer scheint eine geheime Kamera gesteckt zu haben, und die Abschrift ist das Stück.</p><p style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px; "><strong>„Magic afternoon – reloaded“</strong><br>Die Jubiläumsaufführung zum 70 sten Geburtstag Wolfgang Bauers</p><p style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px; ">Dolores Schmidinger und Hubsi Kramar, zwei sogenannte 68er, hatten früh den Wunsch dieses Stück zu spielen, wenn sie selbst auf den 68er zugehen.</p><p style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px; ">Die Vergangenheit kehrt auf komisch tragische Weise in der Gegenwart wieder.<br>Die Bedeutungen sind dramatisch verschoben oder werden erst so richtig sichtbar. Plötzlich durchweht eine Beckett´sche Dimension diese Verhaltensstörungen der Protagonisten.</p><p style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px; ">„Das Wort ist eine Krücke“! Dieser Satz von Wolfgang Bauer ist ein Schlüssel zu diesen scheinbar banalen Dialogen dieses Stückes der Generation der 68er.<br>Es besteht ein großer Widerspruch zwischen love, love, love und der latenten Gewalt zwischen den beiden Paaren.
