Oktober 2009<br><br>Lehrer-Schüler-Beziehungen sind per se vielschichtig und neigen leicht<br>zur Unausgewogenheit. Das Lehrer-Schüler-Verhältnis kann sehr persönlich<br>sein und in allen Abstufungen soweit gehen, dass man im Grunde nichts<br>voneinander weiß. Ein Patentrezept für Erfolg existiert nicht. Trotz<br>seines gebrochenen Verhältnisses zu Kunstakademien unterrichtete Adolf<br>Frohner von 1972 bis 2005 als Professor an der Hochschule für angewandte<br>Kunst in Wien. Aus seiner Klasse ging neben einer Anzahl von<br>Lieblingsschüler/innen auch eine ganze Reihe von Künstler/innen hervor,<br>die sich teilweise in massiver Opposition zu ihrem Lehrer befunden<br>hatten und mit radikal anderen Mitteln reüssierten. „Chili con Carne.<br>Eine Gegenausstellung“ thematisiert dieses hoch komplexe<br>Beziehungsgeflecht zwischen dem Lehrer Frohner und seinen „häretischen“<br>Schüler/innen. In der Gegenüberstellung der Positionen von Frohner und<br>einigen dieser – aus heutiger Sicht – „besten“ Student/innen seiner<br>Klasse wird ein enormes „Spannungsfeld“ erkennbar.<br><br>Die Ausstellung zeigt Werke von Adolf Frohner, Ona B., Bernhard<br>Fruehwirth, Amina Handke, Christian Hutzinger, Moussa Kone, Martin<br>Krenn, Lukas Pusch, Andrea Ressi, Oliver Ressler, Constanze Schweiger,<br>Stefanie Seibold und Simon Wachsmuth.<br><br>Eröffnung<br>Samstag, 11.
