Im Ort Grimmen herrscht Zwietracht. Hermann Lassing - der "Hauptschuldige" - wird niedergeschlagen. Im Wirtshaus klagt die Bevölkerung. Unmut herrscht: Hinterbliebene bekamen Zuschüsse. Verschonte nichts. Arbeit gibt es keine. Vor dem Wirtshaus treffen sich drei Mädchen und gestehen sich ein, dass sie über den Tod der Verwandten froh sind. Der einzige Überlebende des Unglücks sieht das Leben mit seiner Familie zerbrochen und - aus Schuldgefühlen heraus - auch sich selbst. Er wählt den Freitod und wird auf wundersame Weise gerettet. Die drei jungen Frauen verändern den Ort. Eine fiktive Bestandsaufnahme wird zur karikierenden Satire. </SPAN></FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT><SPAN style=""><FONT class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><BR style=""><B> I.A.M.
