Liebe kulturbegeisterte Menschen,
die Nachrichten aus der Ukraine sind erschütternd.
Die Künstlerin Olia Fedorova schrieb gestern Abend aus Kharkiv. Sie war 
2019 als Artist-in-Residence in Graz:

We really appreciate that the most of the world and our friends and 
colleagues support us and spread the word about what is happening! Here 
in Kharkiv there are some shellings on the outskirts, and tanks tried to 
enter the city, but they were stopped and destroyed by our army forces. 
Ukrainian army stands strong and fights with courage, and all the people 
of Ukraine support them and trust them. Now we we stay in Kharkiv with 
my family, but some people left to the western regions. We are hiding 
right now in the shelters, though there are no shellings yet in our 
area, but the government advised everyone to hide, for example they 
arranged public shelter in underground stations. We hope for the better 
and stay strong. Be sure that we will not surrender and everyone will 
fight for Ukraine. We just need the world to know this and know the 
truth. So thank you again for your support! Please pray for us and if 
you have the opportunity please go and strike in front of the Russian 
embassies, please demand from your governments to help Ukraine as soon 
as possible!

Es ist sind sehr traurige Tage für dieses Land aber auch für Europa und 
den Frieden in der Welt. Als Kunstzentrum, das in den letzten Jahren mit 
vielen Künstler*innen aus der Ukarine gearbeitet hat, in Österreich und 
in der Ukraine, und als Zivilbürger*innen, die nichts anderes als den 
Frieden wollen, rufen wir zu Protest gegen diesen Krieg auf und zur 
Solidarität mit den Menschen in der Ukraine.

_Kommt am Samstag zur Kundgebung._
Sofern Ihr Menschen in der Ukraine kennt, versucht Kontakt zu halten.
Und seid versichert, es wird an vielen Orten der Welt protestiert, sogar 
in Russland riskieren Menschen Ihre Freiheit, um gegen dieses Unrecht 
einzutreten.

Heute ist es sehr traurig, nur zum Weinen. Aber auf lange Sicht werden 
Solidarität und Frieden siegen.
